Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions

Resell or transfer your account to others

Engage in money laundering or financial crimes

Violation Consequences: Account suspension or permanent termination without refund.

You agree not to upload content that violates third-party rights

5. Payments & Refunds

5.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Paystack, our authorized payment processor.

Payment Information:

You authorize Chapter 31 Ventures to process payments on your behalf

Payments are non-refundable unless the vendor's refund policy states otherwise

You are responsible for providing accurate payment information

Failed payments may result in service interruption

Currency: Prices are displayed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) or other applicable currencies.

5.2 Refunds & Disputes - Vendor Responsibility

IMPORTANT: Chapter 31 Ventures facilitates payments but does not directly manage refunds or disputes.

Refund Policy:

Refund requests must be directed to the vendor who sold the product/service

Chapter 31 Ventures acts as a neutral facilitator and does not determine refund eligibility

Vendors are responsible for their own refund policies and timelines

Disputes are resolved directly between buyers and vendors

Chapter 31 Ventures Liability:

We are not liable for vendor refund decisions or delays

We do not guarantee refunds or compensate for unsatisfactory purchases

We may assist with dispute escalation but cannot force vendors to refund

Payment chargebacks are handled between you, Paystack, and your financial institution

5.3 Chargeback Procedure

If a vendor refuses to refund and you initiated a chargeback:

The vendor may dispute the chargeback through Paystack

Paystack will arbitrate based on transaction evidence

Your account may be suspended if chargebacks are fraudulent

Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination

5.4 Pricing & Availability

Prices are subject to change without notice

Products are sold "as available" - inventory may be limited

We reserve the right to refuse orders

Tax/duties are the buyer's responsibility

6. Vendor Responsibilities

6.1 Vendor Obligations

Vendors agree to:

Provide accurate product descriptions and images

Maintain honest pricing and inventory updates

Fulfill orders within agreed timeframes

Handle customer refunds and disputes fairly

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Not engage in fraud or misrepresentation

Protect customer data and maintain privacy

Obtain necessary business licenses and permits

6.2 Vendor Liability

Vendors are solely responsible for:

Product quality and authenticity

Accurate product information

Timely order fulfillment

Customer service and dispute resolution

Compliance with consumer protection laws

Refund policies and timelines

Chapter 31 Ventures does not:

Guarantee product quality or authenticity

Make warranties about vendor offerings

Assume liability for vendor actions or negligence

Handle vendor-to-customer disputes

6.3 Vendor Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:

Repeatedly violating Platform policies

Selling prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal items

Engaging in fraud or misrepresentation

Receiving excessive customer complaints

Payment fraud or chargebacks

Violating intellectual property rights

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

7.1 "As-Is" Service Provision

The Platform is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:

Merchantability

We do not warrant that:

7.2 Limitation on Damages

7.3 Third-Party Services

Paystack payment processing or payment failures

Cloudinary image storage or content delivery

Resend email delivery or notification failures

Data breaches at third-party providers

Service interruptions or downtime

Use of third-party services is at your own risk. Review their privacy policies and terms.

7.4 User Content Liability

Chapter 31 Ventures is not liable for:

User-generated content (reviews, images, descriptions)

Defamatory, inaccurate, or offensive user content

Content that violates third-party rights

Harassment or abuse from other users
